Celebrate Spring with the entire family

The Spring Equinox

Light and dark are in balance. The earth is greening. Life springs from the husks of winter. What better time of year to gather in community with other families to celebrate new beginnings?!

Join Jessica Gazzola, Co-director of Peace Tree Spirituality Center, and Sarah Hancock, educator and founder of the St. Louis Farm School, for a morning of wonder and joy.

What to expect

The morning will flow around a simple story and ritual marking the beginning of new growth. Adults will have the opportunity to reflect together on endings and beginnings while children discover the secrets of spring in a nature scavengar hunt. Everyone can look forward to coloring eggs with natural dyes while learning more about the egg as a rich symbol for life. Sarah and Jessica are cooking up other suprises for you, too!

If you choose, you may stay for a potluck lunch beginning around noon.

All are welcome

The event is designed for adults and the children in their lives, but everyone is welcome to participate in this multi generational, inclusive celebration.
