Songs, Stories, and Poetry from the Celtic World: an autumn concert and retreat

We are thrilled to bring Stefan Andre Waligur and all his talents to Peace Tree Spirituality Center!

Stefan Andre Waligur is also known as Macushla, an Irish term of endearment meaning “heartbeat of the beloved”. Living in Ireland, Stefan is a contemplative, and a musician/composer.

He is also a retreat leader and leader of new chant and kirtan around the world. He is an Oblate member of the Benedictine Community called Shantivanam in India.

Registration is required for Saturday’s retreat, but feel free to drop in for the concert Friday evening or worship Sunday morning.  Or (better yet!)  make it a weekend getaway.  Stay at Peace Tree Spirituality Center for just $30/night and sink into the space between the songs.  Contact Jessica at director@peacetreecenter.org to reserve your overnight accommodations.

Spend the day immersed in the poetic world of Celtic Chritianity guided by gifted musician and retreat leader, Stefan Andre Waligur.

Please note: Lunch will not be provided. Please plan to bring a lunch or buy lunch at one of the many nearby restaurants.

Can I make this an overnight retreat?

Yes! How lovely would it be to attend Stefan’s concert Friday evening, relax into the evening with a heart full of song, wake to walk the labyrinth, and be right there for a retreat day with other companions of the journey?! Or attend the retreat and spend Saturday night at Peace Tree integreating all of your insights from the day; and then wake to attend worship at Zion UCC next door Sunday morning (10:30 a.m.) where Stefan will be the guest musician. Or just say good-bye to your neighbors Friday and return glowing on Sunday!
